Description: Detective Comics #597 (1989) Vintage Batman Takes Down Reality Violent Film Traffickers Before Batman can be thoroughly beaten by the man known as Tonka, two boxing students from the Southside Boy's Club step in to break up the fight. With their timely intervention, Batman is able to finally defeat Tonka and plant a tracker on the man filming the brawl, Oscar Lampet. A short time later, the Dark Knight is patched up at Gotham General Hospital and after his injuries are mended, he continues his quest. He arrives at a private club of Gotham's elite who have gathered to watch the beating of Batman, captured live on film.
