Description: Department 56 Village Animated Gondola Ski Lift PARTS ONLY / NONWORKING #52511 Purchased this item in hopes it just needed a new power adapter, but it did not work. This piece comes with the adapter I purchased for it, but no box or styrofoam. I did attempt to troubleshoot and I found two stripped screws in the bottom that hold motor and mechanism to base. You are still able to access the motor and mechanism by removing the house. I was able to get the motor with the belt off to spin one direction but not the other way. I am not sure if the gearing mechanism is good or not or if the direction switch is good. Selling as is. Would still make a good non animated piece or someone with more patience might be able to repair it. Hot glue can be found on the bottom of base of the shorter building. Some scuffs and staining can be found on pieces as well shown in photos.
