Description: This big Christmas elf is Peppin, from the Drolleries of Demdaco Design for the Home. He measures 15" tall and stands unaided on a flat surface. Beautifully hand-crafted and dressed in velvet, Peppins' outfit is adorned here and there with fancy bits - golden bells on his hat, collar, and shoes; floral embroidery on shirt front and cuffs; red and white braided cord on hat, waist, and shoes; a wide ribbon of royal blue with metallic silver threads, centered with a rectangular golden metal piece depicting either Peppin himself, or Santa Claus. Peppins' hair and beard feel like rabbit fur. Imperfections: On the front of his right leg and on the right of his backside are a couple of spots that are indented and slightly darkened. I believe that Peppin should be holding a letter or list in his extended right hand. Most of the pictures I've seen do not include it, but I saw one that did. I've considered making a replacement but haven't gotten around to it. You'll find bits of fine glitter on him from other holiday decorations. No odors.
