Description: Media Condition : Near Mint (NM or M-) Sleeve Condition : Near Mint (NM or M-) Notes : This is quite rare transitional UK pressing. Presumably May - June 1974. The main difference from the previous issues: 1) NO stamper & mother numbers In the dead wax run-off area i.e. the wax at the 3 & 9 o'clock positions is blank (contract DECCA pressing?). 2) Transitional combinations of labels: One Side: 'THE GRAMOPHONE' credits around the top rim and 'MADE IN GT.BRITAIN' is still in the middle, just above the bottom rim text. The Other Side: 'EMI RECORDS' credits around the top rim and 'MADE IN GT.BRITAIN' is aligned with the bottom rim text. On 1st July 1973, The Gramophone Company Ltd. was renamed to EMI Records Ltd. which is certainly influenced the changes in label design for all EMI labels. Now the upper rim text begins with 'EMI RECORDS LTD.' and the text 'MADE IN GT. BRITAIN' is shifted down to the end of the lower rim text. However, this didn't happen instantly, and the process of changing labels for Harvest was stretched out for about a year.
