Larger sized (6 X 8 X 3/4 in.), 164 page, gilt and black decorated, blue cloth hardcover with many full page, black and white illustrations of scenes from the Old and New Testaments. Good condition. Rubbed through board corners, frayed spine ends. Front hinge was torn and repaired, with imperfect results. There's a penciled owner's name (George ?Telfer, South Vallejo, Calif.) on the front endpaper and a preliminary page. The front flyleaf has a few small tears and scuffs and there's a thin, 2 in. tear in the back hinge paper. Pages are otherwise unmarked and securely bound.
