THIS WAS A SAMPLE OF THE BIB OF A MEN’S SHIRT. DEADSTOCK AND NEVER USED. FINDING ANTIQUE CLOTHING AND TEXTILES IN SPAIN IS PARTICULARLY HARD AS WHEN A PERSON PASSED AWAY ALL WERE BURNED IN THE FRONT YARD. ITS CONSIDERED SHAMEFUL TO HAVE HELD ONTO THE ITEMS. A SHAME AS THE QUALITY AND CONSTRUCTION IS EQUAL TO THE FINEST OF FRENCH MAKERS. FASHIONED OF A FINE WHITE LINEN THAT IS HAND SEWN AND EMBROIDERED WITH A SCROLLING DETAIL HAVING A RAISED KNOT CENTER. THE WORK IS SO EXTREMELY FINE. SLIT IN THE CENTER MIDDLE. A WONDERFUL OLD STORE STOCK MEN’S SHIRT FRONT SAMPLE CARD. CONDITION: SPOTTED AGE COLOR SEEN WITH SMALL TEARS TO THE PAPER FRAME.
