Studios themselves rarely issue certificates with items sold. This is due to the time and cost it would take to have a department dedicated simply to pulling aside items, tagging them, logging them, creating a certificate and selling them. It is more time and cost effective for studios simply to have a sale and sell off everything on site or consign the entire production inventory to an outside auction house.
