Description: "David Harem A Story of American Life" was written by Edward Noyes Westcott. It was published in 1899 by D Appleton & Co, NY. It is a hardcover book measuring 5.25x7.5". 389 pages that show tanning due to age. There are also some age spots inside. The previous owner's name is inside with a sweet inscription from Christmas 1899. No other writing inside. There are a few bent corners inside and the last 2 blank pages are torn (pictured). The burlap binding is visible at a split inside the front cover but the book is intact and in no danger of falling apart. There is some edge and corner wear on the cover and the corners are dinged. The cover is very dirty but the graphics are still visible and bright. The top edges of the pages on the outside of the book are dirty.
