To coincide with the 74th birthday of David Gilmour, "The Voice and Guitar of PINK FLOYD," his solo work is released in a paper jacket for the first time and in high-quality BSCD2! This work was released in 2008. Gilmour's first live album as a solo artist. It contains the final performance of the "On an Island Tour" in 2006, a historic concert held in front of 50,000 spectators at the Gdansk Shipyard in Poland. The first half features songs from the "On an Island" album, and the second half features selected Pink Floyd masterpieces. The backing is also solidified by familiar members of Pink Floyd such as Richard Wright, John Carin, Guy Pratt, Dick Parry, as well as Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music, and others, and includes the first performance of the best Pink Floyd masterpieces with an orchestra. At the time, the LP was released in a limited edition box set of 5 discs. This paper jacket reproduces the same box as the LP, 5 types of inner sleeves, a color booklet, and a poster.
