ISSUED ONLY TO CREW / STAFF INVOLVED IN THE PRODUCTION FOR THE CONCERT IN POLAND AT THE GDANSK SHIPYARD WITH THE BALTIC PHILARMANIC SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA. AN ABSOLUTLY AMAZING PERFORMANCE WHICH WAS RECORDED FOR A CD & DVD RELEASE BEFORE A SOLD OUT CROWD OF 50,000 STRONG ON 8-26-2006. THE CONCERT WAS TO CELEBRATE THE FOUNDING OF THE SOLIDARITY TRADE UNION. AUGUST 26, 2006 - The final show on the On An Island Tour - I have included the actual Gdansk lanyard issued only to the production staff / crew. One of the rarest credentials and in exceptional condition. The last photo has a photo of my 2006 On An Island Tour laminate simply for authentication purposes. This auction is for the Gdansk laminate only. Finding any backstage passes / laminates or any credentials for David Gilmour shows are very difficult to find... this is one of the grails if you will. LIKE ALL OF MY BACKSTAGE PASSES THEY WERE IN A PLASTIC PROTECTIVE SLEEVE ON A LAMINATE / CREDENTIAL HOLDER AND ALWAYS KEPT IN GREAT CONDITION - FOLLOWING THE SHOWS THEY WERE STORED IN HEAVY DUTY ACRYLIC SLEEVES. I have hesitated to sell some of my credentials however it's time some of these tour backstage passes / laminates go to a proper home in hopes they are displayed with photos from the shows and properly framed as I had always intended. I have worked in the live / touring music business since 1986... over 34 years now. In that time I have amassed a collection of items like none other and am now offering a small portion of my items to the public.
