Darryl F. Zanuck (Darryl Francis Zanuck) was an American film producer and studio executive, one of the kingpins of the Hollywood studio system. Production chief at Warner Bros.1931; co-founder of 20th Century Fox 1933 and Vice-President in charge of production 1935-1952; later became an independent producer. Zanuck won three Academy Awards for Best Picture: How Green Was My Valley (1941), Gentleman's Agreement (1947), All About Eve (1950). He also earned three Irving G.
