DARKHAWK #1 Newsstand Variant Edition UPC Code Marvel 1991 Origin 1st Appearance

Description: DARKHAWK #1, written by Danny Fingeroth, with artwork by Mike Manley, published by Marvel Comics in 1991. This is a first printing, featuring cover art by Mike Manley. This copy is also a newsstand edition, with a UPC code in the corner box, instead of the 'Captain America 50th Anniversary' corner box which appears on the Direct Edition copies. This issue featured the first appearance and origin of Darkhawk. The copy would grade at around VF-/VF, with light general handling and shipping wear, slightly yellowed pages, some spider creases along the spine on the front cover, some very light edge wear, a tiny chip out along the top edge of the back cover (which also affects the last 2 pages of the book), and other light wear along the edges of the covers of the book, as shown in the photos. The lower right corner of the book is not cut perfectly square, as shown in the 10th photo. The pictures show the actual copy that the winner will receive. The issue will be bagged and boarded, and will be carefully packed for shipping. We do combine shipping for multiple items purchased at the same time.
