Description: Lustrous worsted-weight wool yarn for needlepoint, tapestries, plastic canvas and other crafts, in dark olive green, tending towards brown. I don’t know what name the manufacturer gave to this color, since it only has a number on the wrapper, 0987. Each skein is sold separately and is the complete 15 yards. The yarn is in superb condition, springy and soft. They are described on the labels as “moth resistant” and whatever they did must have worked because there’s no moth damage. The wrappers are in fantastic condition, but 2 of them have become unglued due to age. Wonderful craft supplies and nostalgic mid-century ephemera. If you are working on a crochet project that needs lots of colors and odd lengths then the tiny skeins of tapestry or needlepoint yarn are ideal. I’ve used them for scarves and stained glass granny squares. Ships from my sewing studio, which is free of smoke and pets. Since these are vintage items, I can’t guarantee the previous storage conditions. I personally love thrifted craft supplies.
