Description: This is the 1979 pattern "Luna" hand tufted and detail cut area rug designed by legendary rebel Danish designer Verner Panton and handmade today in India. He always had a fascination for organic shapes, which very often turned curvy or round, and he designed this circular rug in an 8 tone-on-tone color variation, in this case a dark brownish green to taupe, with an interesting off center focal point. This simple and bold graphic design in durable 100% New Zealand wool pile is meant to be an eye-catching accent. Also available in Dark Grey gradient, Dark Yellow gradient, Dark Rose gradient, and Dark Sand gradient colorways, see separate listings. The backing is hemmed heavy cotton canvas for a tailored finish. Wool is inherently soil resistant, anti static, anti microbial, and sound absorbing and is always a good long term choice, even for high traffic.
