Description: ______________You are bidding on an antique Japanese Edo period (17th-18th Century) Wakizashi Sword. The signature appears to be signed Choshu ju Kiyoshige. The antique Tsuba is secured with four very old seppa however the fit is good but not tight. The wrappings are obviously new but the handle and fittings appear old. The Koshirae fits nicely but has been broken and glued, some surface lacquer has flaked off. The blade shows coarse forging along the spine on one side; unfortunately no visible Hamon. A very nice entry level Wakizashi with described imperfections.
