This is an original vintage recessed switch tip made and marked with The Dakaware marking on the bottom along with "Chicago" and the patent number. This is the same switch Tele master Danny Gatton used with his pinky finger to make lightning fast pickup changes. This vintage knob will fit the 3/16" USA-made selector switches, not 3.5mm switches. I don't think Daka-Ware made any metric switches. I cleaned and inspected the knob closely. The bottom of the knob can be a little uneven and they were often filed or sanded flat. Sometimes to the point the all the lettering was sanded off. This one is plainly visible. Because of its age, this knob may have some minor scuffs and marks.
