Description: A fabulous antique Art Deco solid 9k rose gold aquamarine bypass ring, hallmarks for Pendleton & Sons, 1918. This sweet little early Art Deco solid 9k rose gold ring is perfect for every day wearing, the ring in warm rose gold with a lovely curving bypass design showcasing a gorgeous bezel-set round faceted 0.4 carat natural aquamarine which glows a lovely icy sea blue when it touches the light, the ring with a classic band-super pretty! The ring has full English hallmarks inside the band with maker 'P&S' for Pendleton & Sons of Northampton St., Birmingham (registered 1887), the Chester town mark, '9 .375', and date letter 'S' for 1918. The ring tests for 9k gold. The ring is approximately a size 6 1/2. The ring measures approximately 7.5mm x 5.5mm across the face. The aquamarine measures approximately 5mm x 5mm x 3.2mm or about 0.4 carats. The ring rises approximately 4mm above the finger and weighs approximately 1.4 grams. The ring is in general very good condition with all over wear including around the edge of the bezel setting. The aquamarine has a little wear along the facets but generally looks lovely.
