This is a model for historical ship enthusiasts and people who love detail. This is a model of the historical "Cutty Sark" clipper ship, which carried cargo to and from far Eastern portsaround the Cape of Good Hope to England and around Cape Horn to the east coast of the United States.It was one of the fastest and most popular of the "Clipper Ships" (faster than a lot of modern steam and diesel powered ships!), constructed in Scotland of iron and wood and completed in 1870.(The rest of this ship's history is on the instruction sheet.)
