We use a high quality HID FARGO Card Printer, which produces excellent results each time and edge to edge printing. Step 1. Select Card Type: - Standard White Plastic Cards- Magnetic Stripe White Plastic Cards Choose from either a standard PVC card or one with a magnetic stripe at the back.Standard CR-80 credit card size. NOTE: With the magnetic stripe cards we cannot programme the magnetic stripe on the card, therefore we will be leaving the magnetic stripe blank for you to programme it. The type of magnetic stripe at the back of the PVC card is Hi-Co. Step 2. Select Which Side to Print:- Single Sided Printing- Double Sided PrintingIf you require information to be printed on one side only, then this option is for you. These normally contain all the relevant information and images on one side of the card, such as staff work passes. If you have a lot of information to display or any other reason, you can choose double-sided. You can then fit in more details about the company and/or the person’s skills on the other side of the card as well as a return address if the card is lost. If you require a selection of both options, you can just add these to your basket separately. Step 3. Select Artwork Creation Needed:[See below steps for more Info]- NO [My artwork is Ready to Print]- YES [Please Create My Artwork for Me] Select NO [My artwork is Ready to Print] if:1. You already have your own artwork file ready, which does NOT need any adjustments or editing. We will then send it to the printers directly, and/or2. You are a Return/repeat customer for whom we have created the artwork in the past and you hold an account with us. We always advise customers to give it a go making their own artwork design, this way they can get it to their liking and experiment on their design. We provide blank template files in the correct size and dimensions for you to create the artwork yourself; they are also in various file formats so that you will most likely have one of the required software to run them. Ddownload links to the template files; Adobe Photoshop format [PSD], Microsoft Word format [DOC/DOCX] and Microsoft Publisher [PUB] format are available upon request. Do not change the sizes of the templates! If you wish to create your artwork using an alternative design software then please ensure that the following requirements are met when creating your artwork. Your design [artwork] must be in these dimensions:1011 x 638 pixels or 8.77 x 5.60 cm or 87.7 x 56.0 mm or 3.45 x 2.20 inches YOUR ARTWORK CAN BE IN PNG, JPEG, JPG, BITMAP, GIF, PDF, WORD [DOC], PUBLISHER [PUB] OR PHOTOSHOP FORMATS [PSD]. WE PREFER THE ORIGINAL FILES OR PUBLISHER FILES AS THESE WORK BEST WITH THE PRINTING PROCESS, HOWEVER IT IS UP TO YOU. THEY ALL PRINT GREAT. Select YES [Please Create My Artwork for Me] if:You require an artwork creation service where we provide custom artwork design to customers who are not familiar with computer artwork design or who just wants a professional look at their design. You would provide us with your logos, photos & any specific design requests and we forward them to our experienced designers who will then create the artwork for you. The service is an additional one-off fee of £10: If you place an order of multiple cards, you will need to pay the £10 only once (check example below), as we make the master template for your company and then the remaining cards will be created from the master template (adjustments will be made to staff pictures, names and other information for example); perfect for companies with a high staff turnover. Also, your artwork will be saved on our system for future orders and quicker processing times. For example: If you want to create Custom Business Membership Cards for 10 members (Single Sided) and you want use the Artwork Creation Service, you will be required to purchase: 1x Standard or Magnetic, Single Sided, YES [Please Create My Artwork for Me] at £13.99 AND9 x Standard or Magnetic, Single Sided, NO [My artwork is Ready to Print] at £35.91 Step 4.
