Description: Custom Advanced Light Weaponry light up saber. ALW sabers are hand made from carbon steel, and are the most durable sabers on the market. The Hilt: This saber is made from steel. The body is painted in metallic gold/brass. The emitter plates, and grip plates are painted in crimson glazes. The rear grip is wound in black leather. There are two knurled aluminum buttons on the emitter plate. The activator switch is protected by steel leafs, and the switch button capped in blued steel. The steel rear reinforcement ring is chromed steel. The steel blade socket is approximately 3” deep. This saber has light weathering (showing areas of the steel) to add to its realism. The light weathering gives the saber the look of having seen combat. The battery pack is housed inside the hilt and it takes three AAA batteries to operate. The LED is a Luxeon high intensity light. This model is in RED, perfect for anyone who draws upon the Darkness. The belt connector is a chromed steel D-Ring. And the blade set screw is heavy steel alloy, hand cut, and very secure. It is capped with a chromed brass knob that can be tightened onto the blade by hand, then fully secured with a pliers, when used for dueling. The Blade: ALW combat blades are the strongest in the world. They are made from thick walled polycarbonate (1” outer diameter and 3/4” inner diameter). The end cap/reflector is inset into the blade and secured with a small steel pin, ensuring that it will not break off, and can thus handle the shock from full contact dueling.
