The blade of the knife is 1095 and 15 N 20 carbon tool steel with a layer of nickel that is hand forged with well over 216 layers for a very nice Damascus pattern the blade. The blade is very sharp so please be very careful when removing the knife from packaging. The blade was given an excellent heat treatment to get an HRC around 56 to 58. The knife and sheath in the pics is the actual knife/ sheath that you will receive.
