Description: GROUT & TILE SEALER: A low-odor, easy-to-apply, penetrating sealer that resists most common stains. Invisibly seals porous surfaces to make cleaning easier. Use on Saltilo, terra-cotta, quarry and porcelain tile, grout, brick, concrete and masonry. Indoors or outdoors. Unlike other sealers, it will not leave a difficult-to-remove residue on the surface. SURFACE PREPARATION: Surface should be clean, dry and free of waxes, coatings or finishes. TileLab Heavy Duty Cleaner & Stripper (sold separately) will clean the surface and remove wax and acrylic finishes. New installations need to be fully cured. Allow grout to dry for 72 hours. Will not change the appearance of most surfaces. Test in a hidden area to ensure desirable results. APPLICATION: Apply liberally using a new mop, lambswool applicator, sponge or brush. Allow it to penetrate for 10 to 15 minutes. Wipe off any excess. If the first coat has been absorbed, apply a second coat following the same procedure. Very porous surfaces may require additional applications. The surface is sealed when sealer no longer penetrates. If a residue is visible on the surface after drying, remove it with water and a sponge or white polishing pad 60 minutes after application. PRE-GROUT SEALER/GROUT RELEASE: Porous tile, such as clay and Saltillo pavers, can be stained by grout during installation. Sealing the tile before grouting will make grout removal much easier. Apply two coats of sealer according to directions after tile has been bonded for a minimum of 24 hours, or apply to front face of the tile before installation. NOTE: Grout & Tile Scaler is effective in resisting stains. However, clean up spills immediately before they have a chance to set.
