Description: I SELL ONLY WITHIN THE U.S. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OFFERED. DESCRIPTION: I'm offering today one of my gorgeous Antique Bisque Dolls from Germany. She was made around the turn of the century; around 1910 to be exact. I believe some of the Jutta dolls were produced by Cuno & Otto Dressel doll company or Simon Halbig. She stands approximately 24" in height and has beautiful almost paperweight brown glass eyes. She originally had a human hair wig, which looked very tired, so I purchased this very expensive platinum blonde mohair wig for her. Oh my goodness....how beautiful she looks now! She has a ball jointed composition body, which does show some wear and loving over these 110 plus years shes's been on this earth. She has all her fingers, which sometimes is difficult to find. Her ears are pierced and I wanted to find some perfect earrings for her, so I chose these Millifiori style dangle earrings, which come down to the bottom of her chin. Her ball jointed body allows her to be posed in many different positions for displaying however you may choose to do. She will come with the stand she has in the photos. When you get her where you want her, just stand her upright and place her feet flat on the bottom of the surface and she will be secured in place until moved elsewhere. I will start at the top of her head and work my way down so as not to omit anything in my description. As I mentioned above, this beauty is wearing a gorgeous pastel blonde mohair wig with many, many flowing curls. I made her a paper flower headband to match with the flowers on her dress I designed. She has large multi-stroke brown eyebrows which accent her large brown open/close sleep eyes. As I mentioned above, one eye has eyelashes, but the other one does not. It's only obvious when she is laid down that you can see they are missing. I never wanted to tamper with these for fear in taking away from the originality of the doll. She has open nostrils on her petite nose which flows down to her open mouth with teeth. There is red felt in the background for her tongue. Her lips are painted a peachy/pink color. The back of the doll is hallmarked: "4-1/2, 1349, Jutta" and then the number 11 at the bottom of the neck. Now to the outfit I designed and created for this doll. This dress took me about a week to finish, but I think it was well worth the work involved. The top of the dress is actually separate from the tulle skirt; they are two pieces of clothing. I designed a zig-zag pattern with white silk ribbon and then made delicate silk roses in different colors to the front center of the bodice. The fabric is made of peachy/pink taffeta with cording separating the center frame of the bodice. The neckline extends straight across the front of the dolls body, which too has cording. This is very difficult to create, especially when working with such small spaces. As you go around to the back side of the top, you will find three hidden metal snaps for keeping the top in place. As you come back around to the front of the dress, she has a very full skirt with layers and layers of white tulle netting. I finished the waistline off with the peachy/pink taffeta. It has a snap in the back for staying securely in place. The bodice goes over the top of the skirt giving the illusion this is one piece. Under the very full tulle skirt, she is wearing a white crinoline slip with more tulle netting, only a much heavier tulle. This allows the dress to really stand out. She is wearing peachy/pink taffeta bloomers, trimmed with white lace to match her dress. She will come with white socks and white Mary Jane shoes. She is carrying a white lace purse with large pink satin rosette in the center. Is she not the prettiest doll ever? I hope you enjoy seeing her. My dolls are not played with by children who come and visit; I know that sounds mean, but sometimes they play too rough. My dolls are kept in a doll room specifically for them and are displayed for everyone to enjoy. All my dolls are truly loved and cared for as though they were my children. Their clothes are either original to the doll, made by me, or I've tried finding doll clothing from the same era as the doll or find clothing which match the personality of the doll. We do not smoke and I try very hard to keep a tidy clean home free of dust and odor. My dolls are clean and most of the time look as though they did when they were sold new. Depending on how old they are, I do try to be honest in detailing if some of the dolls have bruises, missing toes or fingers or other issues, but that doesn't mean they aren't worth having; for each one is like children.....they are all beautiful in their mothers eyes. If I've missed something it would never be intentional. SIZE: This is a large size Antique Bisque Jutta doll standing approximately 24" in height. CONDITION: As I mentioned above, this doll is bisque and free of chips, cracks or breaks. Her ball jointed body does show wear from the years. She has all her fingers in place. I replaced her human hair wig with a very expensive pale blonde mohair wig. She is missing eyelashes on one of her eyes, but is not apparent unless she is laid down. She will come with a custom made paper flower hair band, which I created to match her dress. Her dress is a one of a kind; made and created by me. There will be no others. She is wearing vintage white Mary Jane shoes from my personal doll shoe collection, but have never been worn by another doll. Her socks are vintage as well. Her earrings are vintage. Please view complete set of photos for thorough description. I hope you can take a few minutes to look at my dolls. God bless you. Connie
