After Coleman’s passing the business struggled greatly and almost filed for bankruptcy in late 2020. In November 2020, Coleman’s younger brother Calvin Thedinger bought into the business at age 23. Calvin, who graduated with an engineering degree from Texas A&M University, was working his first job out of college making $80,000/year as an income statement analyst for Baker Hughes. Calvin gave this up to make $0/year and work day and night to carry out his brother’s vision for CT Sounds. Thanks to our loyal customers, Calvin was able to turn the company around quickly and the company posted record breaking revenue in his first year as CEO.
