It is accurate in every detail and has been cast with a black plastic urethane resin that is very stable and durable. The Consolidated B-24 served in all theaters during WWII and is best known for its 8th Air Force duty flying missions from England deep into Axis held territory.. Fasll', just straight and beautiful.ter than its stable mate, the Boeing B-17, it carried a larger payload seeing extensive duty. It was unforgiving when making a water landing as the fuselage had the tendency to breakup on impact. Marked on the under fuselage with B-24, British Liberator, the boxed US designation and Cruver logo along with a July '42 mold date.
