Crushed Lapis Lazuli A Stone Powder for Rings, Inlay, Textured Pigment, & Art

Description: Crushed Lapis Lazuli (Grade A) Powder from Afghanistan, Fine Crush (<0.25mm) for Inlay, Metaphysical Resin Art, or Pigment Applications ABOUT LAPIS LAZULI ALapis lazuli is a rock that is composed of three important minerals: 1) lazurite (royal blue), 2) calcite (white), and 3) pyrite (metallic gold). This lapis lazuli (grade A) is from Afghanistan and has a very deep blue color that is mixed with dark royal blue and white hues. This material darkens and deepens when the stone is wet or sealed with an adhesive, and is a classic choice for most woodworking and ring inlay projects. Our lapis lazuli A has more calcite (white) than our crushed Lapis AA or AAA products, with approximately 60-75% lazurite and 25-40% calcite.MATERIAL SIZEOur powdered material consists of mostly silt and clay sized particles (<0.25mm). Our powders do have a slight grit to them. Powdered minerals are great for filling in small cracks or voids, orgonite pyramids, resin molds, memorial and resin jewelry, ring inlay, resin art, and creating textured paints and pigments. This material is also a great gift for makers looking for unique supplies or reiki practitioners that enjoy top quality crystal powders.
