Description: This is a really lovely Large size Decorative Pot / Vase with a Smiling Crescent Moon face and a couple of dancing Bunny Rabbits. This piece is all handmade, hand painted and Burnished in the pottery tradition called bruñido by Antonio de Jesús Díaz Medrano. Antonio is a young artist from Tonalá in Jalisco Mexico, he comes from a long line of ceramic artists. Photo #6 shows this pot surrounded by clay heart ornaments by Antonio. Today Antonio represents the 5th generation of artisans, which he represents with great pride….. His family has been dedicated to the craft for generations. "I was born and grew up in mud," says Antonio, who at 25 years of age has earned recognition for the artistic quality of his pieces."
