(We realize that 4/16" is the same as 1/4" but that is the way these are marked. Same with the 16/16" equaling 1-inch.) The set comes complete with a carrying case for easy storage and organization. Made in the USA. There was a time, and not that long ago, when a person was looking for quality tools the place to go to was Sears and the Craftsman line of tools. The quality of the Craftsman line of tools was and continues to be exceptional. Sadly, the Craftsman line of tools is going away. Furthermore, more and more Sears stores close each and every year. There is no wonder all Craftsman tools are highly sought after. We are uncertain to the age of these auger bits. We are selling them as used but, they have not been used much. The plastic piece in the bottom of the case is spring loaded. Therefore, to remove a bit you simply push the bit towards the bottom and then remove the tip. These bits are in excellent condition.
