CPF - KB&B Meerschaum Bent Bulldog Tobacco Pipe W/Amber Stem & Fitted Case 1800s

Description: Gorgeous 1800s C.P.F. Best Make Bent Meerschaum Bulldog Sterling Silver Band, Amber Stem and Fitted Case. This Antique C.P.F. Meerschaum Bulldog by KB&B is in Incredibly Nice Condition, Fitted with a Sterling silver band Marked "Best Make C.P.F. Sterling" This is an original Silver Adornment that was Factory applied. The Meerschaum is fully intact with Zero Cracks, Chips or Missing pieces. The Real Amber Stem is in Outstanding condition. Fitted with a Modern Delrin replacement Push tenon and Mortice liner. ( The original "natural" material tenon was cracked and crumbling.) The Original latching Velvet lined case is in Great condition considering its age, with some wear and Scuffing. (Wear appropriate for age.) The "Colossus Pipe Factory", was founded in 1851. C.P.F. was known to be owned by Kaufmann Bros. & Bondy aka KB&B by the Mid to late 1800s. They owned the brand after that time. the C.P.F. brand was discontinued sometime in the 1910-1920 range. The exact History is a bit of a Mystery. * Lightweight at just under 1.5oz. * Clean and Shiny, Ready to Smoke.
