Description: Mid century modern "Drink" themed cocktail serving tray by Couroc of Monterey, California. The rounded rectangular tray is made from molded black satin phenol resin inlaid with the word "Drink" in various tan and brown wood grains. Each of the letters of the word are printed with the appropriate words, "Vodka Martini," "Whiskey," "Gin," "Wine," "Bourbon, Rye, Gin, Rum," and "Scotch on the rocks." The tray--measuring about 12.5" L x 9.5" W x .75"D--features 4 indented round feet on the bottom, where it is stamped "Couroc Monterey, California." The substantial and sturdy tray is made of "satin black phenolic...impervious to alcohol and boiling water." Hand wash. There are a couple of surface spots--nothing remarkable, and for historic artifact's sake, the glue marks remain that outline the original Couroc story label,which can eas9ly be cleaned off. All told, the whimsical tray is quite nice--great for entertaining, or as a gift!
