Description: One of the most beautiful classic CB radios! Here is one of the nicest Courier 1Ms I have seen recently. This was top of the line in its day - and had the BEST receiver of any of the CBs I ran back then. 12 channel transmit and 23 channel receive (smooth as silk). Full set of crystals included. I slowly brought it up on a Variac, and all tubes lit, indicator lights on, some receive sounds, BUT a 60hz hum that indicated that the power supply capacitors need replacing. This is normal in a radio of this age, especially a tube radio. They are located in a single canister. At my age, and the time I have available, I opted to keep searching for one that had them replaced already. Some rust and corrosion on top of the chassis, but very clean underside and, as you see, really excellent face and case. This offer includes microphone, good power cable, and even the operating and service manuals! With a little basic electronics, you can make this into a beautiful and operational radio that you will be proud to have on display. And always, sold as-is, due to the notorious parts swappers out there. I pack carefully and ship promptly.
