This example of the B-17G in these markings is sought after. This 'Flying Fortress' appears in excellent and 'as new' condition and appearance, all as pictured from multiple angles for prospective buyers to determine the condition of this lovely example. Model also features separate 'nose art' panel and stand in larger scale, also as pictured.The model comes from a smoke free, pet free, small child free home! This 'Flying Fortress' comes complete with Limited Edition Certificate Number 1352 of just 2100 issued, also as pictured.Model is listed as 'pre-owned' (which it is), but it is also clearly unused, and in 'as new' condition, as presented here. This is the B-17 'G' version appears with the forward 'chin' turret (does not rotate, as issued) and in USAAF markings with overall aluminum finish with distinctive yellow squadron markings, all as pictured. The model comes complete with all accessories for optional landing gear settings for both main landing gear and tail gear, together with stand components, again as pictured. The model features rotating propellors, turrets (one with elevating guns), retractable and rotating dorsal ball turret, rotating main undercarriage wheels, and functional open/closing bomb doors revealing full ordnance bomb load, as pictured in detail. Glossy colourfully illustrated outer boxing with internal polystyrene packaging tray. There is some minor storage wear and scuffing to the box base, otherwise the box is clean, sharp and excellent as pictured: the internal protective polystyrene packaging is sturdy and remains excellent, again as pictured.
