Description: Copeland Spode Byron S518 Pattern Hand Colored Earthenware 7 7/8 Inch Plate Pretty earthenware plate decorated in the S518 Byron pattern by Copeland Spode. Hand colored over transfer. Marked on the reverse Copeland Spode England Spode's Byron. This mark was used between 1920 and 1960. Also marked in red with the pattern number S518. Also has an impressed date code of S36 for September 1936. Has some wear to the green around the edge, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 7 7/8 inches wide. This is vintage and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
