Description: The item for sale is a vintage Consumers Research Bulletin from March 1940 in fantastic condition. This magazine is in really nice shape for being over 80 years old. Overall the binding is holding, but is obviously fragile because of the age, and the pages are clean and legible. The last hole in the magazine to put it into binders has some damage, other than that it is in really nice shape. There is a renewal envelop that has stuck itself to page 1, I tried to capture this in the pictures. Please look at the pictures carefully since they are of the actual item for sale and represent a portion of this description. This edition had reviews of Patent Medicines, More Tools for the Home Workshop, Gardeners' Use of Vitamin B1, Gelatin, The Popular Vivid-Color Dishes, Outboard Motors, Castile Soap, Waffle Irons, Non-Proprietary Water Softeners, Men's and Women's Athletic Shoes, Tennis Balls, Electric Steam Irons, Automobiles Made by the Chrysler Corporation, Domestic Water Heaters, and other topics. It is fascinating how detailed they got in their review of items. It has 26 pages, there are actually a few more since page 13 has several with letter designations, of incredibly interesting insight into the world of 80 years ago.
