Description: Woodcut by Constance Anne Parker (1921-2016), Sculptor, painter and printmaker. Constance was born in London and was a Student at the Royal Academy 1946-1951, winning four silver and two bronze medals. As well as the R.A. she also exhibited at the Royal Society of British Artists. She was a sitter for a painting held in the National Portrait Gallery by Leonard Rosoman. I have a number of woodcuts and etchings by Constance, listed individually.Fine woodcut, printed on thin paper 'In Memoriam Erica Holme IFUW. The woodcut is in good condition, with very minor age related toning, signed 1959 1/0. I will also forward the original first draft, etched into ink with hand written design, and a further earlier state copy without text. Woodcut measures 7.5cm x 10.3cm to paper edge. Total paper size 8.4cm x 11.2cm.
