Description: This is a classic long cornet, model 28A, often called "Conn's secret weapon". As best as I can determine, it was probably made in 1857 o 58. It has two very slight dents, one on the second valve slide and another on the tuning slide (see pictures), but it doesn't affect the tone or playability. It comes with the original case and also 4 mouthpieces. One is a Bach 3C, also a Bach 70 W , a Parduba double cup NO. 7 and the original Connstellation mouthpiece. It is an extremely versatile instrument. Depending on the mouthpiece, it an sound like a trumpet or also a cornet. The finish is original, gold brass and silver. There are some slight scratches, but nothing significant due to normal wear and age. It was professionally cleaned with a chemical bath, also the mouthpieces (see attached invoice). If any additional information is required, please contact me.
