Description: Complete platen system "kit" off a 1911 LC Smith & Bros. typewriter, serial number 101224-2. Good used / reusable condition. The parts are original to the typewriter, and you can tell the rubber cover has been replaced in the past. There are a few groves down the wooden core which is typical when replacing the rubber as well as a few holes where the nail / pin was set into the rubber cover, but there are no cracks or damage to the wooden core.
