It incorporates a rotating ball assembly producing a “radial float”. This, in effect, forces the collet to self center for maximum grip, highest precision, and minimum tool wear. TG100 Collets range from 0.078”-1.000”. Comflex collet systems provide the flexibility to mill, drill, and ream. Comflex collet systems have an AT3 or better shank taper providing accurate, rigid toolholder to-spindle mount. Maximum recommended torque is 60 ft-lb. Comflex collet systems result in less tool wear and replacement resulting in less scrap. Comflex collet systems have a fully ground flange and V-groove reducing spindle and changer maintenance.
