Description: This **1920's English textile was used as a valance. A lightweight cotton floral front fabric and lightweight cotton backing seem to be layered giving it a heavy quilted drape feel. This beautiful **all over bouquet print of large hydrangea, peony, morning glory, daisy, lily, dahlia and leaves in repeat on a burlap colored background comes with original green, pink and white fringe edging that matches the floral color scheme perfectly. This piece is actually (5) panels seamed together; (4) are approx. 28.5" w and (1) is 28" w. Total length is 141 3/4 " and width is 20" to the fringe and 21 1/4" with fringe. Minor stains and / or any flaws on the back side shown in photos. A lot of the back side "decorative" brown stitching has come off but overall, it's solid and held together well. This fabric has not been washed or ironed due to its age but the fabric has integrity and no dry rotting so it could be hand washed. This massive valance is in excellent condition. LENGTH & WIDTH REFLECTED IN INCHES. Happy to answer any questions you may have. You will pay best rate possible for shipping. **Please be aware that we are estimating the era of this textile based on communication with past owner as well as guessing some of the flower species.
