Description: Vintage Mud Man collection, all old, "China" mark on bottom c. 1890-1919. Lot of 27 pieces. Images 1 and 2: collection photos. Images 3 and 4: Fishermen, in conical hats and grass capes. Approx. 7.5 and 8" tall. The figure in the yellow hat has some tips of fingers missing. Images 5 and 6: A pair of women in white robes carrying open baskets. approx. 8.5" high. No damage noted, but may have has independent hands that inserted into holes. Photos 7 and 8: 5 bearers, approx. 6.5 to 7" tall, one missing finger on the turquoise robed figure, crack on hand of green figure. No other damages noted. Photos 9,10,11: 2 fishermen in conical hats, four scholars figures. Approx 6.5" to 7.5" tall. Man in blue conical hat has fingers missing. Two scholars have damages to topknot (see photo 11) No other damages noted. Photos 12 and 13: Four Daoist figures. Approx. 5" tall. No damage noted. Photos 14 and 15: Three Elderly men. Chip to blue hat. No other damages noted. Photos 16 and 17: Five fires, approx. 4" tall. No damages noted. (there was some residue masking tape from old pricing on the back of the two reclining figures I failed to remove before photographing.. Mea culpa. Vintage and Antique items are old and used so they may show wear and/or manufacturers imperfections. These items are sold in as-is condition, and may have other kinds of wear including crazing, marks, dust or chips. Please view picture carefully. Colors may appear slightly different due to the nature of color variation from monitor to monitor. Any white spots on image are reflections from camera flash. Items have often been used for many years and can have normal signs of aging or handling, and gilt can have signs of slight disintegration even if never handled. I will reflect any damages, repairs, obvious stress marks, crazing or heavy wear in the item description but some minor scratches, nicks, stains and gilt disintegration can be normal for vintage items and need to be taken into account.
