Description: Offered here is a collection of three documents from mid-19th century French Empire period relating to a French physician named Albert Jules Emile Debout. Included in this lot of documents are:Debout's Empire Français, Diplôme de Docteur en Médecine,1868what appears to be a booklet regarding Debout's military service (my French is a bit rusty)Also included here is a letter that appears to be conferring the title, in 1856, of Chevalier de l"Ordre de la Legion d'Honneur upon a physician also named Debout, although I don't believe it is the same as the Debout whose diploma is offered here, since the latter appears to have been born in 1841 and his medical diploma appears to have been granted in 1868. Perhaps his father or an uncle? In any case, those are the documents in the lot. Part of the fun of collecting is trying to determine what you have. Please let me know if you have any questions. These documents are from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off. Please read the condition description carefully and review the photographs. Unless noted otherwise in the description, the prints, art and other items that I sell are not "reproductions". For example, offered maps are of the period. I do my best to accurately describe the items being sold, but if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. Please check my other listings for additional items of interest. I will combine shipping.
