Description: Coleman Lantern 220J Green 220J Sunshine 1961 w/ Glass Untested 2 Mantel RARE This is a vintage Coleman 220J two mantel lantern in green color that has "Sunshine of the Night" tank. The bottom of the tank has date code "4 / 61" (1961). No damage to tank and it holds fuel. The glass is marked, "Coleman used on 220 228". No chips or cracks. The lantern is untested. The fuel cap threads on and off as it should. The shade has some chips to enamel and original brass nut. I'm not sure why this 220J model has the 1961 tank. 220J seem to have been made in early 1970's. The factory may have used older tanks on some early 220J models. I pack the glass in bubble wrap in it's own box inside the box with the lantern so it won't get broken. My photos are of the actual item you are getting. See our store for other interesting lanterns.
