Description: Cold War US Marine Corps Band Uniform This is beautiful example of a Cold War US Marine Corps Band Uniform named to Dennis E Carroll (Drum Major 1972-1984). Upon the Collar you can find a pair of Metal USMC Eagle Globe Anchor (EGA) Pins. On the Sleeves you can find a pair of Color Embroidered Staff Sergeant (SSgt) Rank Insignia as well as a pair of Color Embroidered Service Stripes (4 Years of Service). There is a tag inside the Jacket which states rank (Sgt), Name "Carroll, Dennis E", and date "11/18/69". The Jacket does not have a size tag or stamp but measures out to a 40-Inch Chest. The Belt is stamped "F. Langen. The Pants have a Care Tag and were manufactured by Cone Mills Incorporated. The Pants do not have a size tag or stamp but measure out to a 30-Inch Waist with a 31-Inch Inseam. This Uniform is from Carroll's call back in 1969 by request of the Marine Corps Commandant who offered him the position of "Drum & Bugle Corps Drum Major". The condition of this Uniform is spectacular with no holes, rips, tears, or missing buttons present.
