Description: Coffin End Teaspoon Daniel Poore Coin Silver 1795 Mono HW American Federal coin silver teaspoon in the coffin end pattern, having an engraved monogram "HW" on the front of the handle. Probably made by Daniel Poore, Portland, ME c. 1794-1795. This important antique spoon is 5 5/8" long and weighs 11.7 grams. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
