Description: Presented today is this gorgeous Storyteller from Cochiti Pueblo, depicting a mother holding 5 children. Standing 4 inches tall, she was made by Martha Arquero. Born in 1944, she was taught the art of storytellers by her mother, Damacia Cordero, sister of the legendary Helen Cordero. Martha's work is tremendously popular, and this is a great opportunity. Purchased around 1990, this piece has lived its entire life in a glass case, and is in perfect condition. Buy with complete confidence, for as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, i will immediately return the full purchase price, along with return shipping. Many pueblos are now making storytellers, but it was Cochiti Village that started it all, and it remains the epicenter of this wonderful artform. Storytellers are beautiful and have a wonderful sense of serenity. It's easy to see why they are so popular. Many thanks for your kind consideration, and congratulations in advance to the lucky buyer. As always, Best Regards, Rich
