Unfortunately it doesn't take much handling of this kind of leather to get marks and scratches. That's why this girl won't use a bag made with smooth Glovetanned leather. I'm too rough on my bags. So with that being said I was told this bag was brand new however I don't believe it. I have seen some come straight from Coach looking close to this. Anyhow there is light wear on the feet, and also the smooth leather inside open compartments is a tiny bit wrinkled at the top (once again normal even for new bags with this kind of leather) The hangtag was personalized on back and I removed the color from the initials so they don't stand out like they did and there is a metallic gold stamped cat which I left on it. The bag is super cute with the elephants if you like elephants you will love this bag. I have always been attracted to it. So please don't expect a new or perfect bag.
