Description: [Filed under: CLEOPATRA in soundtrack records ]This ultra-rare, possibly unique reference acetate is for the commercially released 45 rpm 7" single: it's mastered (lacquer-cut) in that format, but on a full sized standard 12" plate. The record is VISUALLY Graded: side 1 looks strong vg+ there's a tiny 1 millimeter "spot" of "discoloration" toward the end of this side that plays fine. Side 2 looks VG++ "Clean" labels: these are stock RCA cutting lab labels with the information hand-typed for each side, and the RCA logo is blacked-out on each side with ballpoint pen: see photos. We spot checked the sound and it's crisp with little to no surface noise where we checked: it doesn't seem like these were played much, and they don't sound rolled-off or look overplayed... you know how it is with "reference acetates" if you collect them!
