This item for your consideration consists of a pair of 1983 Canadian circulated pennies, one is a variety known as the far beads and the other is known as the near beads. This difference is noted on the obverse or head side of the coin only. In my scans, the far beads variety is on the left in both pictures. As you look at the head side of the pics you can see that the beads, or denticles, as they are sometimes called, are farther from the outside edge of the coin in the left photo, this is the far beads type. Beads are closer to rim in right pic, this is the near beads coin. Take a look at the pics and you can get a fairly good idea of the condition of the two coins, .they are both nice coins for their age.
