Description: Antique Old Paris, Vieux Paris Empire style cup and saucer decorated with a hand painted scene of a woman feeding her pet bird. The interior is gilded, the ornate handle is accented with a female mask in relief. The cup is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, the saucer has an old staple repair and some gold touch up. The set displays great, and the repair is mostly visible from the reverse. Cup size approx. 4 1/4" in height and 3 5/8" wide including the handle, the saucer measures approx. 5 3/4" in diameter. This is an antique item; it may have small manufacturing irregularities that do not affect the display of the piece.
