Merchandise Description This ebay auction is for one ASP/Lockcraft brand Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth trunk lock. It fits most models from 1966-72....may fit additional models. The lock manufacturer is not specific about particular models...they simply say "most models 1966-72." This lock is new in original packaging (packaging will be opened to check keys for proper function before it is shipped out). This lock is held in the trunk lid by a spring steel retaining clip. The package will include the lock cylinder, 2 keys, gasket, universal retaining clip, and assorted universal tailshafts. The lock is probably best installed using the original tailshaft and retaining clip.Here are some tips that may help determine if this lock will work in your car. The cutout in your trunk lid should resemble the shape of the gasket in this picture...it has notches at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock.The latch mechanism that holds the trunk lid closed should have a small slot (about the size of a medium flat screwdriver blade) that accepts the tailshaft of this lock cylinder.Your existing lock should be held in by a spring steel retaining clip.If your lock is held in by a huge threaded nut...then this is NOT the correct lock.
